Puma

Puma

Puma, the #ForeverFaster brand, was founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler, and we could write an entire book about the German company, about its constant envelope-pushing innovations, or the game-changing sneakers developed for some of the best athletes in history. But instead, here are just a few facts. The brand’s world famous and highly successful heritage in football started back in the fifties with the first ever boot with screw-in studs, called Super Atom. Puma’s iconic logo of the jumping cat, we would dare to say one of the most famous trademarks in the world, was created in the late sixties by Lutz Backes, a Nuremberg based cartoonist. The legendary Puma Clyde sneaker was born in 1973, and owes its fame to Walt “Clyde” Frazier’s signature colorful style off the court. Love Puma? We definitely do. Especially because the German brand is both all about the sneakers, and at the same time about so much more than just the sneakers.
